    Superbly illustrated in color and balck-and-white, this out-of-print book is an in-depth pictorial price guide to Fenton art glass produced between 1907-1939.    “The purpose of this book is to acquaint the reader with the multitude of items produced by The Fenton Art Glass Company from the period 1907 to 1939.  Categories included are early Pattern and Opalescent Glassware, Carnival Glass, Stretch Glass, Non-iridescent Opaque and Transparent Glass of the 1920’s and 1930’s and Tableware Patterns and Satin Glass patterns of the 1930’s.  Intentional omissions include in depth coverage of plain crystal and crystal cut glassware, and opalescent glassware produced in the late 1930’s.  A listing of some of the crystal cut items has been compiled from inventory records and is included in the section titled ‘Wheel Cuttings.’  Opalescent glassware produced in the late 1930’s will be included in Book 2.”  Each type of glass is presented according to sets Fenton patterns representing the type.  This is a kind of ultimate collector’s book with beautiful photography, thorough research, and full support from company personnel and archival records.
