Greetings...
Here is a 100% original design/trademark SAMPLE that was submitted to the US Patent Office by the Diamond Chain Company in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1927, and registered as their updated design trademark in early 1928.
This chain-box specimen was obtained by one of the attorneys working with the Patent/Trademark Office as they decided to digitize their file samples starting in the 1970's. This attorney was extremely fortunate to obtain many extremely rare and valuable samples from the soon-to-be-destroyed files of many goods and services clients. This one was one of the more interesting but others were valued in the thousand$ and beyond; Beatles trademarks(signed) etc.
I have a statement(photocopy) from that attorney that explains exactly/in detail his role in securing this and many specimens. That will be included with this sample for the new owner.
This sample --like most-- sat in the file drawer for many decades, untouched.
